IT and audio-visual to the highest specification
We gave our designers complete freedom to specify the most up-to-date and user-friendly equipment available. They did a great job, with the result that the Diskus is able to offer presentation facilities second to none.
The entire system is easily controlled by the presenter at the lectern with a custom designed touch screen interface. Lighting, audio-visual functions, camera operations and recording can all be regulated in this way.
We also offer Video conferencing utilising the highest technology as a standard package, allowing you to hold your conference worldwide.
Multi-lingual interface
We provide microphones and speakers for every participant: at each delegate's seat, at the multi-position lectern and at the presenters' top table. this provision can be interfaced with interpretation booths to provide a multi-lingual translation system, if required.
Remote controlled cameras cover every point in the room. Live video can be displayed simultaneously on two flat plasma screens to the rear of the room, a 60" plasma screen serving the front of the room or to the presenters' top table on three monitors. You can record the entire event on DVD for future use. Similarly, you can display your corporate DVD or VHS presentations on any of these screens by remote control.
Unequalled multimedia provision for delegates
Interfaces for laptop PCs occur throughout the auditorium and also in the foyer service room. These let you input your own computer generated presentations such as those created in PowerPoint. These interfaces can be remotely controlled from a keyboard and mouse at the presenters' table.
ISDN links enable the Diskus to be used for audio conferencing. Compact disk or cassette music and sound can be relayed to the room's amplification system and all audio inputs are interfaced with an amplified induction loop for the benefit of delegates with impaired hearing.
A stylish and pleasant environment
We furnished and equipped the foyer with the same flair and attention to detail as the conference room.
This informal space is multi-functional. It can be used for exhibitions, as a 'breakout' area or for the provision of catering. The reception zone is furnished with an elegant built-in desk, ideal for registration of conference delegates.
There is purpose-designed informal seating for up to 60 delegates in the foyer including the coffee area. Toilets are well provided, including advanced facilities for the disabled. The entire suite is air conditioned to the highest standard.
